Established in 1995 as Ketan Jawdekar and Associates, under the aegis of its Principal Ketan Jawdekar, the design studio was rechristened as a private limited company in 2004 as Studio K-7 Designs Private Limited. With this came a more focused vision and the studio became an amalgamation of young and dynamic entrepreneurs who would implement innovative ideas creating exquisite projects. The design studio offers consultancy in Architecture and Interiors, and for open and public spaces.
Aiming to providing a complete design solution, the team works on the guided principal – ‘from a pin to piano’, for almost all its projects. And this is achieved by keeping in mind, the client’s budget and individual tastes, which results in rewarding structures with world-class designs adding unusual colors to life.

Ketan Jawdekar is an architect and artist known for his innovative and creative designs that blend patterns and elements to create an enchanting vibe. He believes that architecture is like poetry emerging from the fine application of patterns, generative principles, and refraction. His designs often incorporate a narrative that draws from the local context to create global designs that he calls "FAD-Fusion Aided Designs."
Ketan's work has received international recognition and has been honoured with 50 international and multiple national awards to date, including Platinum Awards at A’Design awards and competition at Como, Italy, Gold Awards at International design awards, LA, and Gold awards at American architecture Prize, New York, USA. DAC has ranked him as one of the top 5 designers of the world in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Design, and ITC Publication has honoured him as one of the Top 100 Hot Architects of India and Top 10 Hospitality designers of India.
In addition to architecture, Ketan is also passionate about painting, theatre, acting, direction, photography, and mountaineering. He has kept his passion for painting alive, and his work adorns the collection of leading developers and art collectors. He is perhaps the only artist in India who paints blindfolded, live in front of spectators, to raise funds for charity.
Ketan is an active speaker and presenter at national level conferences, delivering speeches on topics such as "Be yourself" and "express yourself." He also conducts design workshops for architecture and interior design students and has served on the jury panel for national-level design competitions. His work has been featured in leading design publications in India and has been part of international exhibitions, such as "Moods."
For Ketan, a good design is a combination of Desire, Enthusiasm, Simplicity, Innovation, Grace, and Necessity.
